Welcome to the Strange, Bizarre, and Beautiful World of Julian Johnston      Julian Johnston is an American Multi Media artist and an occasional musician. Primarily known as a sculptor and prototype painter he is also proficient in a wide range of mediums including statue making, canvas painting, photography, antique restoration, seamstry, clockwork, and most recently, automata. Johnston has been referred by his peers as a "dark artist". His work involves various ranges of influence from life, death, darkness, light, social commentary, dark humor, romanticism and mysticism. Some of his most notable works include "SkyLine", "The Series of Shadows" and his own personal keepsake "The Mechanical Apple".      In addition to his own work Johnston is also the owner of GGM Studios that does work for private collector's, the garage kit hobby, the collectible figure and toy industries. In 2008 he was asked to become a staff writer for Amazing Figure Modeler Magazine and would join the talented stable of artists at AFM.
